My Week In Photos

Happy Easter everyone! I hope you’ve spent the day inhaling more chocolate than air.

I spent my morning on a flight home from Scotland – but naturally, I still found the time to wolf down more than my month’s intake of dark 75% chocolate. This was actually my 8th flight in the last month – it’s been pretty busy for me!

Here’s what I’ve been up to (and wearing) in the last week. From visiting a lavish spa hotel in Ireland for work to roaming around the Sussex countryside in search of inspiration, it’s been a good few days.

Indulging in Ireland

I spent last weekend in the beautiful lands of west Ireland. I’ve never been to Ireland before, so it was really exciting for me to visit Ashford Castle. It’s a beautiful property dating back to the 12th century – and I was spoiled silly.

I also had the chance to explore the local national parks, meet some adorable Irish wolf hounds and learn to fly hawks! A totally dreamy few days. If you’re interested in hearing more about the castle, my full review will be live on Good Things’ website this week.

Getting arty at the Saatchi Gallery

I attended the exhibition launch for Ben Turnbull’s ‘No Guts No Glory’ exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea. Very pop-art in theme, it seemed quite fitting considering the wider world of politics at the moment. If you like your art loud, proud yet simple – pay this exhibition a visit.

For the evening, I wore a suede ensemble of a button-up Zara skirt, vintage cream shirt and dark green suede coat. Easy peasy, and so great for mild spring nights.

A little forest wandering

Whenever I’m in need of inspiration, I take a little trip to a nearby forest in Sussex. At this time of year, it’s just stunning.

Suede (of course) and a frayed Topshop cami for the occasion.

Spending time with family in Scotland

I’m one of four children, and we’re all pretty busy people. This means we don’t see each other very often – it’s about once a year that we’re all in the same room. However, this weekend we all flew to Scotland to catchup in Aberdeen.

Nothing beats family time – and it was made even more special by seeing my grandfather and cousin at the same time too.

I hope you’ve all had a great week too – let me know what you’ve been up to in the comments below!
